You may have heard how easy it is to publish a book on Amazon®. It's true. It is easy. But the easy way doesn't always make it the right way.

Now, don't get me wrong. Amazon is not a bad way to publish your book. In fact, I will recommend that you use Amazon.

However, there is a bad way to use Amazon (and other publishing platforms), and I want to make sure you avoid doing that and making other rookie mistakes that may lead you to publish a book that does not appropriately represent the message within the book.

Well, I recommend that you read through this guide before starting the process and then based on how you feel after reading it, decide whether you should self-publish.

If you are excited about the process and none of the steps intimidate you or make your eyes glaze over, you should consider publishing your book yourself.

However, if while reading, you are getting bored, recognize that you don't have the time to do this, or feel nervous about the process, you should strongly consider hiring someone to publish your book for you.
